Our story, our mission, and the people who make it happen
Memories Matter was founded by Reem Merchant, a student at Arlington High School, with a simple belief: every senior deserves to be seen, valued, and supported.
What began as a personal passion grew into a high school club dedicated to supporting those with dementia and Alzheimer's, partnering with the Alzheimer's Association.
From organizing pickleball tournaments to distributing Mother's Day flowers, our club has become a force for compassion in the Arlington community.
Today, we continue to grow, building bridges between high school students and the seniors who need us most.
To support seniors through direct service, awareness campaigns, and fundraising for Alzheimer's research.
A community where every senior feels valued and young people are empowered to create meaningful change.
Compassion, service, and the belief that every memory — and every person — matters.
