How It All Started

Memories Matter was founded by Reem Merchant, a student at Arlington High School, with a simple belief: every senior deserves to be seen, valued, and supported.

What began as a personal passion grew into a high school club dedicated to supporting those with dementia and Alzheimer's, partnering with the Alzheimer's Association.

From organizing pickleball tournaments to distributing Mother's Day flowers, our club has become a force for compassion in the Arlington community.

Today, we continue to grow, building bridges between high school students and the seniors who need us most.
