Reem Merchant, Founder of Memories Matter

Reem Merchant

Founder & President, Memories Matter

As a student at Arlington High School in Arlington, Massachusetts, I started Memories Matter because I believe every senior in our community deserves care, attention, and respect — especially those battling cognitive impairment and dementia.

Through our club, we've organized pickleball tournaments, distributed flowers at local assisted living facilities for Mother's Day, and proudly participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease, raising funds to support critical research and family support programs.

"One small act of kindness can create a ripple of hope. Together, we can make sure no one faces Alzheimer's alone." — Reem Merchant
